Ok y’all… the countdown is on for Shayla & Nate!
These custom save the dates were a joy to make. From the soft shimmer of their names in gold textured vinyl to their radiant photo mounted on acrylic circles, then finished with hand-painted gilded edges.

And yes, that’s their engagement shoot photo — can you feel the joy?

Every time we get to revisit a couple’s story and keep designing for the next chapter, it’s a full-circle moment. Their wedding journey started with a styled shoot, and now we’re sealing envelopes for the real thing.

Anekqua & Rahiem said “I do” in the sweetest intimate micro-wedding — a celebration filled with faith, laughter and the kind of love that blooms brighter with time.

Though their wedding didn't take place in spring, their theme was inspired by it. Cheerful florals, joyful colors, and that sense of new beginnings that only a garden brings. We paired their springtime palette with a custom invitation suite and a virtual announcement so and friends could celebrate from afar.

And one my favorite details? The custom “To Love, Laughter & Happily Ever Again” sign — created as a keepsake they still hold close today.

Tabitha reached out with the sweetest request — cake boxes for her niece, Zahria, and her groom, Brad. It’s part of a beautiful Caribbean tradition where guests take home a sweet piece of the day. How could I say no to that kind of love?

Hearing Tabitha share this story in her own words made it even more meaningful. Each shimmer petal (from Curious Collection paper) was hand-cut, shaped, and assembled on the boxes along with custom labels. Then came the love across the miles — the boxes were carefully shipped, and I created a step-by-step video so Zahria could fluff her flowers and finish assembling them just in time for her big day.

Her message alone made it worth it. The making was a joy, the tradition was beautiful, and the finished boxes were truly a story in every petal. Thank you, Tabitha.
